Tommykaira is one of Japan’s most legendary and respected tuning brands — a true symbol of craftsmanship and individuality.

Founded in Kyoto, the name “Tommykaira” originates from its founders Tomita and Kaira, and since the 1980s the brand has stood apart for its philosophy of refined performance rather than pure power.

Known for tuning Nissan, Subaru, and Toyota vehicles, Tommykaira gained international fame with its hand-built sports car, the Tommykaira ZZ, which showcased Japan’s boutique engineering spirit.
